Essential List of Ramadan Decorations

By Shannen Espelien 5 Comments

It’s time to start preparing for Ramadan, and a great way to get kids excited for Ramadan is to decorate your home, and let them help! I love building our decorations a little bit each year, and with each passing year I’m more impressed with the offerings available online. No longer do I need to repurpose Christmas decorations, or summer patio decorations. Rather, I can suppose Muslim-owned small businesses (even through Amazon!), and give my home the special flair I aim for in our holy month to build my kids’ excitement, in sha Allah.

Need Ramadan decorations? Support small businesses and jazz up your home with this essential list!

Ramadan Decorations at Amazon

I tend to buy anything I can at Amazon because with my Prime membership, I’m spoiled with two day shipping, and it’s just so easy to check out since all my information is already stored there. Amazon seems like it has nearly everything, but Ramadan decorations weren’t always easy to find. Here I’ve picked out some of my favorites on Amazon, and ones I think you’ll like, too.

Rubber stamps to make cards or crafts
Bring in Ramadan with cookies!!
Balloons make anything more fun!
Curtain lights are fun to hang in a window!
Have a festive iftar with this party pack!
Classy lantern to hang or set on a table
Let the kids help put up window clings
Large glittered star and moon decoration to hang
Hang up garland to jazz up a room!

Favorite Ramadan Decorations

There are lots of Islamic retailers that have decorations you can choose! I’ll give you a list of some shops, but first I want to highlight some of my favorite decorations for families. Click the image to visit the shop page.

Ramadan Countdown Kit

Ultimate Ramadan Decoration List

I’m so excited to order this for my kids, in sha Allah!! I love that it’s gender neutral, and gives them something to do each day. I can put little extras into the bags, like treats, mini-lessons, or small gifts to make it extra exciting for the kids to open. I want my littles to grasp an understanding of how long Ramadan is, and how many days are left. With iftar around 9pm in our area, they aren’t always awake to see us breaking our fast, so this is a great way to bring Ramadan into their daily routine!

Ultimate List of Ramadan Decorations

Maybe you’re like me and you delay ordering decorations until the last minute, then shipping is an issue. That’s where these decorations come in since you can print them out on card stock and have them ready the same day! Plus, I love having decorations for iftar. When Kira was younger, and iftar was closer to a normal dinner time, I had her set up an iftar with her friends each year. She really looked forward to planning it out, and I wish we had these decorations back then!

These are all-purpose decorations, and fun for any occasion! I love the variety you get, to really personalize your home during Ramadan, either in general, or for a fancy iftar.

Ramadan decorations from WAHM’s

I love to support sisters who are supporting their families from home, mashaAllah, so make sure to check out these sisters, and what they have to offer. These sisters have so much creativity, their products bring a special flair to any home!

  • Embellish – “Bringing Islamic occasions to life” – You can check out her unique offerings and order via her Facebook page. You can also view her Etsy shop.
  • Simply Impressions – I love the fad of wall decals that has grown in popularity over the last several years! Fawzia offers many different designs, including Ramadan and Eid themed decals for your home.
  • Up a Notch – Gifts and personalized candy for every day and every occasion. She offers special Ramadan stationary and decor to give your home that extra pop!
  • Path of Light Designs – Lots and lots to choose from! Invitations, DIY decor, home decor, and lots else in her Etsy shop. You’ll just have to check it out!
